We firmly believe that hospitality is not just a job, but a way of life. It all began in 1959 with my grandparents, Bruna and Luigi: the Hotel Majorca was born out of their sacrifices and a burning desire to create a place where people could finally enjoy themselves.
My name is Nancy and, together with my mum Rita, I’m carrying on this tradition. I grew up within these walls: the front door of my house opens straight onto the hotel kitchen.
For me, welcoming you isn’t about running a business, but about inviting you into our home.
You’ll find my brother Luigi, who’s always there to support us, and my partner Lorenzo, the heart and soul of our Rooftop.
Even the youngest members of the family are already ‘part of the team’, learning the best job in the world through play, just as we did when we were children, climbing onto stools to reach the coffee machine.
We’re “still here” because we love the stories of the people who have been coming back to visit us for generations. To explain what it means to us to welcome you, we’ve encapsulated our vision in this promise, which guides every decision we make:
